Ecoenergy occurs amid expectation that public consultation of the standard of electrical facilites to photovoltaic systems is approved

Consultation and its implications shall be among the topics covered in the roundtable of the Abeama – Associação Brasileira de Energias Alternativas e Meio Ambiente

São Paulo, April 2018 – The Ecoenergy – Fair and International Congress of Clean and Renewable Technologies for the Generation of Energy, held from May 22 to 24 at the São Paulo Expo, shall occur at the moment in which the photovoltaic solar energy market expects to have already approved the public consultation of NBR 16690, standard of electrical installations for photovoltaic systems. This standard shall establish clear rules for the quality and supervision of the facilities, as well as become a reference for training of labor in the sector. The roundtable “Fundraising of agents: choices and results”, promoted by Rui Balval Baldini, resident of Abeama – Associação Brasileira de Energias Alternativas e Meio Ambiente, shall address the issue. “The photovoltaic market is relatively new in Brazil, so our legal frameworks have to be constantly evolving, adapting to the changing scenario, “he says.

Baldini points out that in recent years, Abeama has brought to Ecoenergy agendas focusing on consumers, commercial and industrial, speaking their language. “We want more and more Brazilians to use solar energy. Everyone who has a roof can benefit from this and disclosure with propriety is of great importance in this process. “What he needs to include, he said, are explanations about the reduction of the electricity bill, how to use photovoltaic supplement in a project that already uses intensive energy and the operation of the system.
Participants may ask questions about all these issues and many others, such as financing are available for different types of consumers to obtain photovoltaics. Baldini points out that there are several paths, such as banks and cooperatives, that bring some solutions into their niches. “But nothing like the use of the money that the citizen has and can use for his/her benefit, like the Income Tax, FGTS or ISS, for example, as it already happens in other countries. I shall question these possibilities.”

Roberto Zilles, coordinator of the Laboratory of Photovoltaic Systems and titular professor of the Instituto de Energia e Ambiente of USP, shall participate in the round table giving focus to the challenges of expansion of photovoltaic energy in the country. It shall address, mainly, the economic, technical, and the professional qualification demands of installers. “In addition, the public consultation shall be an opportunity for the public to better understand what are the movements and steps that are being taken in this sector. It is important to remember that facilities made properly also contribute to the development of the Brazilian solar energy matrix, “he says.

Brazilian and European companies at EnerSolar + Brasil

Ecoenergy is part of the A + ENERSOLAR Brazil – International Fair of Technologies for Solar Energy, carried out by CIPA Fiera Milano and for years has the support of Abeama and BVMW, German association of small and medium enterprises. The president of the Brazilian representation of the entity, Ilka Von Borries- Harwardt, says it is in advanced talks with companies in Europe who have an interest in participating in the 2018 edition.

“While we support Abeama, whether in lectures or providing information at the EnerSolar + Brazil booth, we bridge the gap between Brazilian and European alternative energy companies who are looking for us. We advise on how we can support them in their respective markets of interest, “he says. Borries-Harwardt says that the BVMW office in Brussels is instrumental in carrying out this work, having already helped to bring in companies finalized by the European Commission, which it hopes shall be repeated this year.
