According to ANEEL &#8211; National Electric Energy Agency, the country already has 1,285 connections, being 96% of solar photovoltaic source. The expansion of the distributed generation benefits the consumer-generator and the economy, as well as the whole brazilian electric system.<\/p>\n<p>The Normative Resolution no 482\/2012* has created the Electric Power Compensation System to allow consumers to install small generators, such as photovoltaic solar panels and wind microturbines in their consumer unit, and to exchange energy with the local distributor. As of March 1<sup>st<\/sup>, 2016, the normative resolution will go through an update.New rules will be applied, such as the permission of use of any renewable source, plus the qualified cogeneration with distributed microgeneration and installed power of up to 75 kW, and distributed minigeneration above 75kW and lower than or equal to 5 MW (3 MW for water source).<\/p>\n<p>In the distributed generation system, the amounts of energy generated\u00a0 in a particular month that exceed the consumption are reversed to credit in the invoices of the following months. The credits can be used within 60 months).<\/p>\n<p>The latest solutions and technologies focused on the distributed energy generation, as well as on the GTDC industries (Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Commercialization) will be in the <strong>EnerSolar + Brasil | Feira Internacional de Tecnologias para Energia Solar<\/strong>. The fair will be held <strong>from May 10 to 12, 2016<\/strong> at S\u00e3o Paulo Expo Exhibition &amp; Convention Center, na cidade de S\u00e3o Paulo.
