From May 23 to 25, 2017 – São Paulo Expo – SP – Brazil, from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Congress of Clean and Renewable Technologies for Energy Generation
The challenge of project financing, regulatory issues, technological advancement, complementarity with other renewable energy sources, overcoming bottlenecks and team building are strategic aspects that are part of this edition of the Congress of Clean and Renewable Technologies for Energy Generation | Ecoenergy, held from May 23 to 25, 2017, at the São Paulo Expo, in São Paulo.
Many are the topics under discussion on renewable energy, especially solar energy, which is the focus of Ecoenergy. In general, the topics to be addressed are the bases for the agents to make them analyzes of investment feasibility and to direct strategies, that is, the starting points and fundamental aspects to attract investments in Brazil and thus, to outline the new directions of the sector in the Country: regulation, human capital, financing and technology.
As Ecoenergy proposes “practical” discussions, that is, those that impact the daily lives of those who work in the area or intend to act, brings up fundamental debates for the development of the sector and the training of professionals. “Human capital is one of the bases for the development of solar and renewable energy projects in general. Historically, some of the people who sign up for the Congress already work in the area, but some participate because they evaluate the possibility of becoming project managers, integrators and installers of solar energy projects,” explains Tatiana Dalben, responsible for coordinating the event.
This year, on May 24, parallel to the second day of Ecoenergy, Biomass Day was created to stimulate discussions about the potential of the combination of biomass and other renewable sources for power generation.
Tatiana comments that “solar energy can be complementary to that generated by thermoelectric to biomass. Biomass is very broad and includes agricultural residues (vegetable or animal), industrial waste, urban biogas, among others, and given the potential and particularities of this energy source, which has a great potential for expansion, and the use of biomass as Biomass Day has been created”.
Specialists are confirmed to minister the lectures in several areas of the sector such as: Rodrigo Lopes Sauaia, Executive President of ABSOLAR (Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy); Carlos Evangelista, Director of ABGD (Brazilian Association of Distributed Generation) and Ruberval Baldini, President of ABEAMA (Brazilian Association of Alternative Energy and Environment) and professionals from large companies: Riberto José Barbanera, President of Energisa Mato Grosso; Sergio J. Ceballos Mannozzi, LATAM General Manager of GPTech; Harry Schmelzer Neto, Manager of Energia Solar Distribuída and Smart Grid WEG Equipamentos Elétricos S.A.; Luiz Galdino Neto, Development Director of Norwind Energias Renováveis; Newton Ferrer, Partnership Superintendent for CDC Goods and Services at Banco Santander; José Renato Colaferro, Operations Director of Blue Sol; Miguel Bezerra, Field Service Director of Dresser Rand Guascor from Brazil; André Edelstein, Partner at Advocacia Waltenberg, among others.
The agendas of the 7th Ecoenergy and Biomass Day present debates on strategic topics that are the drivers of business and partnerships at EnerSolar + Brazil, which brings diversity of products, launches and business opportunity through 80 exhibitors of the segments of solar heaters, Solar panels, photovoltaic panels, wind turbines, inverters, biomass transport and handling machines, boilers and burners, among others. The events are organized by Cipa Fiera Milano.
