Grows the potential market of Distributed Generation in Brazil

The market for distributed generation from renewable sources is in rapid growth in the country, with new players entering the sector, professionalization of companies, training of labor, development of new business models, improvement and updating of legislation. The theme will be one of the focus of debate of the 6^th edition of EnerSolar + Brazil | International Fair of Technologies for Solar Energy and the 7^th Congress of Clean and Renewable Technologies for the Generation of Energy | Ecoenergy, held from May 23 to 25, 2017, at the São Paulo Expo in São Paulo.

Carlos Evangelista, President of ABGD – Brazilian Association of Distributed Generation states that more than 70 million potential consumers can take advantage of the economic and environmental benefits of distributed generation, one of the most promising markets of the last 30 years. “One of the main challenges is to develop direct and effective channels with the distributors, to remove the bureaucracy of procedures and to facilitate the connection of the clients with the local distributor. The trend in terms of business model is the shared generation.”

Reinforcing the characteristics of EnerSolar + Brazil and Ecoenergy as events that connect the different agents of the chain and foment discussions relevant to the development of the sector, the executive emphasized that the fair was established as one of the most important events that happen in the sector of renewable energies, in particular photovoltaic solar energy. “EnerSolar is already part of the traditional circuit of trade fairs and congresses of the sector and ABGD, as in every year, will be present to disseminate information, knowledge and develop relations with professionals and companies in the market.”

In this edition, EnerSolar + Brazil will bring together about 80 exhibitors from the segments of solar heaters, solar thermal plates, photovoltaic panels, wind turbines, inverters, biomass transport and handling machines, boilers and burners, among others, expecting to receive approximately 12 thousand visiting professionals. In addition to the exhibition area, the event has a wide content programming grid, with the holding of the 7^th Congress of Clean and Renewable Technologies for Energy Generation | Ecoenergy.
